Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and Bloc Party added to EXIT

A welcome return for Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and an eagerly anticipated debut for Bloc Party at this year's EXIT Festival.

Continuing the R:Evolution, EXIT reveals the second wave of headliners which is sure not to disappoint. Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and Bloc Party will join the already announced Atoms for Peace to rock the iconic Petrovaradin Fortess with many more to be announced. Taking place from 10th - 14th July the 14th edition of EXIT will serve up up an unbdeatable five days of music, entertainment and adventure under the hot Blakan sunshiine.

A welcome return for the reincarnated Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, who last performed at EXIT in 2007.  During his performance he defiantly declared  “This ain’t the last time you’re gonna see this face.” And he was right. We’re glad he has stayed true to his word, as what better artist to join in the R:Evolution of this year’s EXIT Festival than this groundbreaking artist who has continued to re invent himself and stay at the top of his game, with over 30 million albums albums sold worldwide.

Snoop Lion is a new moniker of multi-platinum artist and entertainment icon, Snoop Dogg, whose ability to stay at the forefront of popular culture and new technology has resulted in unwavering relevance. Snoop Lion, in conjunction with VICE Media and Stampede Management, are set to release REINCARNATED, the multi-media project capturing Snoop’s exploration of reggae music and spiritual growth.

British indie rock heavy weights Bloc Party will be playing EXITand Serbia for the first time, with band members Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong ready to reverberate their new sound around the fortress walls. In 2012 the band released their long awaited comeback album dubbed ‘Four’ following the bands three year hiatus. Charismatic Kele Oker is the lead singer of the band who has also persued a successful solo career, and it is great to see him back together with Bloc Party – a band who have won many hearts and fans globally. Having released their debut album ‘Silent Alarm’ in 2005 which went platiumum the band have released a total of four albums which have sold over 2 million worldwide.
