In the busy Berlin's scene Ampispazi Recordings, looking at things in a future's prospective, is always trying to invest into new talents instead of focusing on releasing recognized names, aiming to give them the exposure they deserve. The imprint, brainchild of DJ and producer Mik Santoro, is now presenting their 53rd release, Redundant's latest single 'Dysphoria'.

The 23 years old Italian producer has previously released three other singles on Ampispazi, receiving love from the likes of Monika Kruse, Stacey Pullen, and Berlin’s Weekend Club Markus Kraushaar. With his 4th single on the label, which shows the attachment of the label to the artist, Redundant presents his new and wiser sound.

His new EP 'Dysphoria' is a collection of two deep and dub techno tracks, influenced by both the UK and Germany's scenes, with similarities in his production's style going from Mosca and early Scuba to Echochord’s Fluxion and Darko Esser. The two cuts merge classic Berlin's Techno industrial sounds with shifted rhythms and Dub-techno chords' melodies, with short and direct breaks in each of the tracks that keep the groove relentless and straight. 'Leslie Monotone' and 'Alida' are both club-focused tune: while the first one it's a clear entry song, the second one it's a cut born to keep up the energy into any djsets.
