Rebecca Delle Piane drops the Veve EP

The Fondi-born, Terracina-based DJ/Producer's third EP release for Ben Sims' influential imprint sees Delle Piane turn a four-tracker that leaves no doubt as to why the 24-year-old is one of techno's brightest emerging talents.

The unpredictable, woozy toplines of "Moonshiner" and "Rise" open the "Veve EP" with each track taking distinct percussive routes, the former a stripped but rattling groove, the latter densely percussive and tom-driven. "Tool 3" shows off yet more drum-savvy production but centers around an addictive, tumbling three-note hook that leaps out of the track. "Tool 9", an ominous powerhouse of a track rounds out the EP with a relentless, sound system bothering energy.

Having also released on labels like Mord, Ribbon, and Frenzy, as well as playing techno institutions like Duel Club (Naples) and Manchester's Meat Free, Rebecca Delle Piane is getting all the right co-signs, and for good reason.
