From getting ready to hit the street in the company of friends to the frenzy on the dancefloor and the dreamy atmosphere at sunrise: In their new release Doppelgänger bring together all the facets of a memorable night of partying.

“Flamingo” thus takes the party crowd on a gregarious journey. The track‘s catchy groove mirrors the pleasant anticipation just before departing from home. The feeling of excitement and of butterflies in one‘s stomach finally leads to a vigorous jump into the big adventure.

The next track, “Drunken Monkey”, is a chaotic ramble through an impenetrable night-club ticket. Staggering and erratic in its movement, dangerously aggressive and unstoppable – this track is the perfect basis for a night of fidgeting and madness in a dimly lit world.

“Albatros” is a tribute to the idea of boundless freedom. It is a journey through the salty sea breeze, cleaning one‘s head from the grey scenes of everyday life. The track plays with the tranquillity great dreams need. And with the determination and vigour that helps those dreams to come into being.

The sound of the creative combo Doppelgänger subsists on its characteristic contradictions. There are harmonic parts full of almost dreamy synth sounds, which are then heavily pushed forward. Dainty melodies over a deep bass, and harmonic synths pushed along by clear drum lines. Doppelgänger combine pure harmony and a dangerous thirst for adventure, ostensible bliss and the constant lust for more. They reconcile good and evil. And they express all facets of life with their music.
