With a sound that is perpetually nostalgic, yet equally refreshing and heavy enough to shock the toughest of sound systems, Compa's music displays a binary relationship between Foundation Sound homage and Forward-Motion thought.

With a sound that is perpetually nostalgic, yet equally refreshing and heavy enough to shock the toughest of sound systems, Compa’s music displays a binary relationship between ‘Foundation Sound’ homage and Forward-Motion thought. Spacious textures, heavily built sub-frequencies and intricate execution of minimalism are but a few significant ways in which his music can be described.

The Compa sound has received acclaim from across the board with key influences like BBC 6 Music's Gilles Peterson & Nerm showing praise, as well as J:Kenzo and B-Traits on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, not forgetting Jay 5ive and N-Type amongst others on the prestigious Rinse Fm. Tracks have even found their way into the record bags of scene pioneers Mala (Deep Medi, DMZ), Chase & Status (Ram, Mercury, Renegade Hardware) and US Dubstep Ambassador, Joe Nice (Dub War, Reconstrvct).

In addition to performances in The Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium, Russia, Portugal, Germany and Turkey, Compa has also toured Sweden and the United States.
