Esteemed gentlemen of dance music Colin Dale and Jules Dickens launch their boundary pushing new imprint, Abstrakt Dance with a series of killer EPs.

The label has the same ethos as Colin's seminal Kiss FM radio show of the same name; forward thinking, diverse and fresh electronic sounds for discerning dance music heads.

Colin's legendary status is well deserved, a DJ for over twenty years he's released records on Perfecto, had techno royalty Carl Craig, Richie Hawtin, Derrick May and many more as guests on his radio show, released seven major label mix compilations and has played all over the globe at some of the worlds best clubs.

Jules, when not in his Shoreditch-based production school Abstrakt Source, can be found DJing and producing music that's heavily influenced by the underground Detroit techno scene.  An avid vinyl collector since the early nineties, Jules was quick to embrace digital vinyl in its early days and currently uses the IWS system from MAX with Ableton Live, which gives him ultimate control over both tracks and effects through the vinyl format.  A solid background in Sound Engineering has led to a proficient and unique style on the mixer and being a people person, Jules will always find the right track for the moment and intuitively work the crowd.

The first chapter of Abstrakt Dance is due for release on 3rd June, kicking off with a fine work by Colin Dale.  His ‘Please Stand By EP’ will feature 3 new tracks from Colin plus a remix from Jules.
