Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Koenigsegg and Spyker among the favourites at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show.

Lamborghini Veneno
In the year of its 50th anniversary Automobili Lamborghini is presenting an extremely exclusive model at the Geneva Motor Show 2013. Only three unique units of the Lamborghini Veneno will be built and sold.

Its design is consistently focused on optimum aerodynamics and cornering stability, giving the Veneno the real dynamic experience of a racing prototype, yet it is fully homologated for the road. With a maximum output of 750 hp, the Veneno accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and the top speed for this street-legal racing car stands at 355 km/h. It is priced at 3 million Euro plus tax - and all three units have already been sold to customers.

Ferrari LaFerrari
The wraps are finally off the LaFerrari. The Prancing Horse’s eagerly-anticipated limited-series special, of which just 499 will be built, made its world debut today at the Geneva International Motor Show. The new model uses the Ferrari 6.3-liter V12 in concert with the HY-KERS system from the F1 program to produce 950 bhp and 900 nm of torque.

The hybrid system is composed of two electric motors developed in collaboration with Magneti Marelli - one powering the driven wheels and the second the ancillaries – and a battery pack attached to the floor of the chassis consisting of cells that are assembled in the Scuderia Ferrari department where the KERS for the F138 is also made.

Koenigsegg Agera S "Hundra"
2002 – After eight painstaking years of constant development, the small striving Koenigsegg team delivered the first production cars to anticipating customers.

10 years later, in September 2012, the first carbon prepreg pieces were cut on the routing machine for Koenigesgg’s 100th production car. The car was duly named “Hundra” (Swedish for 100) - a unique one-off Agera S being built for an excited car collector. Fast forward to March 2013  - The Hundra is finished in time for the 2013 Geneva Auto Salon. A beautiful clear carbon right hand drive Agera S with celebratory, artisan hand laid and swirled, 24 carat gold leaf inlays, creating an intriguing mix of traditional and hi-tech craftsmanship.

McLaren P1
McLaren Automotive will use its first ever international motor show appearance to preview its next generation ultimate supercar - the McLaren P1 - which takes much of its technological and spiritual inspiration from the company’s Racing division. The McLaren P1 has one simple goal: to be the best driver’s car in the world on road and track.

A mid-mounted 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine and a highly effective electric motor give a combined output of 903 bhp and a maximum torque figure of 900Nm, ensuring instantaneous throttle response through the rev range, more akin to a naturally aspirated engine.

Spyker B6 Venator Concept
It is hoped that the Spyker B6 Venator Concept will mark the start of a new era. Expect a 911 competitor with a 375 horsepower V6 engine. Power will be delivered through a six-speed automatic transmission. The use of an aluminum chassis combined with a carbon-fiber body will reduce weight to just under 3,080 pounds.

The cars footprint is rumoured to be similar to a Porsche Boxster, giving it excellent, precise handling. Inside, customers will get an aluminum dashboard with an exposed gearshift mechanism and rich, quilted leather. The italicized script logo on the Spyker B6 Venator Concept’s grille is a reproduction of the company’s 1903 logo.
