adidas Originals sportswear has been re-modeled and re-designed from a modern point-of-view and yet the apparel and footwear maintain their heritage.

HYKE is a womenswear label from Japanese designers Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode, formally of the brand Green. Established in 2013, HYKE is marked by a simple, clean aesthetic with an emphasis on materials and tailoring. The SS15 release of Adidas Originals by HYKE, maintains this design ethos, while classic 3-stripes iconography is given space to play across a number of contemporary womenswear silhouettes.

Apparel includes a Trefoil t-shirt with oversized shoulders, modeled off a vintage style, while a black pullover in a fashion-forward fabric with a zipper in the back is another highlight. Accompanying this is a pair of tailored track pants, a series of knits, and a mid-length tailored skirt.

For footwear the Superstar takes center stage, featuring crocodile-embossed leather detailing. Complementing this is a model inspired by the Haillet, the predecessor to the Stan Smith, one with an all-white upper, the other highlighted in a snakeskin style leather. Snakeskin also features in the accessories offering - two casual clutches inspired by the classic Adidas travel bag, the Airliner, available in python, and all black. A pair of simple 3-stripe knee socks complete the collection.

The Adidas Originals by HYKE SS15 drops worldwide March 18, with a prelaunch pop-up store taking place at ISETAN department store, Shinjuku, from March 11.
